Diane Kennedy Squires

Diane Kennedy Squires holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University. She was called to the bar in 1988 and has worked for the firm for 19 years. Her experience includes the preparation of contracts and agreements, especially those involving corporate reorganization or purchases and sales. However, she has a special interest in security based transactions.

When Diane moved to Guelph 20 years ago it was intended to be on a temporary basis. However, she stayed, married and now has three daughters. Diane is active in sports, particularly women’s hockey and equestrian events. She is also active in the community, primarily in organizations that involve her children. Diane is on the Board of Directors for the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, Tournament Chair for the Guelph Girls Hockey Association, former president for the Canadian Federation of University Women, Guelph Chapter, and organizer of the horse show for the Aberfoyle Fall Fair and member of the Cutten Club.
