
Born and raised in Guelph, Francis Valeriote obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa. He was called to the bar in 1981 and been a partner of Valeriote Valeriote and thereafter SmithValeriote for 25 years. His practice involves real estate, corporate/commercial law, an extensive wills and estate planning practice and a limited family law practice, including private adoptions.
Frank is active in apartment, residential, and commercial purchases and sales as well as the creation of new condominiums and acts for many condominium corporations in Guelph and surrounding areas. He has extensive knowledge in estate planning for clients with varying degrees of needs and sophistication and is also an active lecturer on corporate, business and estate planning matters.

Frank and his wife, Catherine have two young children, who joyfully occupy most of his spare time. In his remaining spare moments he is extensively involved in the community. Frank is presently Chairman of the Board of The Guelph Wellington Business Enterprise Centre, Chairman of the Board of Skyline Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and a Director of St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation, Guelph.
