During his 40 years with SmithValeriote, David Crawford Smith has achieved extensive trial work in all levels of Courts in Ontario, plus experience before Administrative Tribunals and Boards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science degree from the University of British Columbia, and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario. He was called to the bar in 1966.
David’s areas of practice include:
- Criminal Law
- Real Estate
- Wills and Estates, including Estate Litigation
David and his wife, Marie have four children, Jordanna, Janine, Darrin and Andrea and presently eight grandchildren. When he is not busy with his family, David enjoys traveling, gardening, photography and playing golf. He is involved with the Hospice Wellington Board, former board member of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Wellington Law Association, past chair of the Psychiatric Review Board, member of the Guelph Court Management Committee and frequent lecturer on Estate Planning, Wills and Power of Attorney.
