Stephanie holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of Guelph, where she pursued minors in Genetics and Political Science. She then attended the University of Western Ontario, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property and Information Technology. She articled at a prominent national firm in Ottawa, and was called to the Bar in 2009. Stephanie practiced briefly at a small firm in Toronto before joining SmithValeriote.
Stephanie practices in the field of civil litigation, including environmental, construction, condominium, insurance and employment matters. Other areas of interest include intellectual property and administrative law.
While Stephanie was raised in Northern Ontario, since attending the University of Guelph she has considered Guelph her home. She is active in the community and is a member of the Zonta Club of Guelph. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys knitting, reading, attending concerts, playing golf and spending time with her boyfriend and cat, and is passionate about animal rights.
