Richard Gazzola holds a P. Eng. Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Applied Science degrees from the University of Windsor. Called to the bar in 1974, Richard has been with SmithValeriote for 31 years. He has experience in all phases of law and litigation including court trials, Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior and Divisional Courts, appearances at WSIAT Labour Tribunals and Labour and Contract negotiations. Richard is a certified family mediator and a Registered Professional Engineer with engineering experience both in the construction and manufacturing industry.

His community involvement includes being a member of the Belwood Lake Sailing Club, Italian Canadian Club, the Insurance Institute of Ontario, Trustee for the Wellington District Catholic School Board, former Italian Vice Consul in Guelph, Minor Hockey Referee and Ball Hockey Coach, Holy Rosary Parish, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Ontario Association of Professional Engineers, and the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization.
