Lisa Gazzola is a partner at SmithValeriote Law Firm LLP where she has been practicing since 1994. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1992 and also is a registered trade-mark agent.
Lisa has completed the In-Depth Tax Course offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants which enhances the services she offers to her business and individual clients.

Lisa’s corporate/commercial practice includes setting up new businesses, reviewing and drafting shareholders agreements, corporate reorganizations, share/asset purchase transactions, financing and secured transactions, as well as drafting various types of contracts.
Real Estate - Commercial, Residential, Builder
Lisa’s practice also includes buying, selling, refinancing, and leasing residential and commercial real estate, together with representing builders in the area.
Wills, Trusts, Estates
Lisa helps her business and individual clients with their estate and succession planning needs by preparing wills, powers of attorney, creating trusts and corporate reorganizations and estate administration.
Trade-Marks
Lisa is a registered trade-mark agent, advising on such intellectual property matters and filing and prosecuting trade-mark applications in Canada.
Lisa was born, raised and lives in Guelph with her husband and two active children.
Outside of the office Lisa enjoys playing a variety of sports and is an avid runner. She is involved in the community as a director on the Guelph Chamber of Commerce board, as a volunteer at the Guelph Enterprise Business Centre where she lectures and advises entrepreneurs, and as a member of the Guelph Chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women. Lisa previously completed a 9 year term as a board member of the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation, Guelph, where she also chaired the Planned Giving Committee.
