Employment Issues
At SmithValeriote we offer services for employers and employees. This includes the following:
- Drafting of employment contracts, policies, procedures, manuals and other associated information
- Representation of employers in all aspects of labour relations, including negotiating and drafting of collective agreements, applications before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and arbitration adjudication
- Prosecution and defence of wrongful dismissal litigation
- Representation before all aspects, which includes adjudication, investigation and mediation before the Ontario Human Rights Commission
- Consultation and representation with respect to charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
