Chelsea Harron is an associate lawyer at SmithValeriote specializing in Employment and Criminal Law, as well as other areas of Civil Litigation. Chelsea provides her clients with resolution of files in a timely and effective manner.
Chelsea provides practical and strategic advice and represents both employers and employees on a wide range of employment issues including wrongful dismissals, employment standards, employment contracts, human rights complaints and occupational health and safety.
Chelsea represents clients in defending against Criminal Code Offences, Highway Traffic and other Provincial Offence matters.
Chelsea attended the University of Waterloo where she graduated with an Honours B.A. in Social Development Studies with a Minor in Legal Studies and Criminology. Chelsea obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor where she graduated in the top ten students of her class. Throughout law school, Chelsea has worked at Windsor Community Legal Aid and Legal Assistance of Windsor where she represented clients in a variety of court and tribunal hearings. She also worked as an intern at the University of Windsor Mediation Services. After working as a summer student and completing her articles with SmithValeriote, Chelsea remained with the firm upon her call to the bar.
As a Guelph native, Chelsea is looking forward to practicing in her home city and being actively involved in the community in which she was raised. Chelsea volunteers her time with a number of organizations, including Big Brother Big Sisters. Chelsea enjoys travelling, cooking, physical fitness and spending time with friends and family.
