Aynsley is happy to be returning to her hometown of Rockwood and to SmithValeriote as an articling student after having spent two summers with the firm and completing her law degree in New Brunswick in between.
Aynsley attended the University of Waterloo as an undergraduate student in the Honours Planning Co-op program, earning a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a specialization in Land Development Planning in 2008. She held a variety of co-op positions in both public and private capacities and extended her final co-op placement into full-time employment with Meridian Planning Consultants, Inc. where she practiced as a planner until deciding to pursue further education. Aynsley received her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2011 and was the recipient of the John Teed Prize in Community Planning.
Aynsley will be serving the law community as southwestern Ontario’s Articling Student Ambassador for the Ontario Bar Association for the 2011-2012 term. Aynsley is passionate about music and can be found at her piano in her spare time. Additionally, she likes to travel, golf, cook, skate, ski, and spend time with her family and friends at home and in the Maritimes.
